Hello, my name is &&&&&&& &&&& I am 17 years old and attend &&&&&&& &&&& as a senior. I love to play sports like football, run track, then I’ll only go to the gym to play basketball. In this essay I will be explaining and answering the questions, how have I grown as a leader, how will I use what I learned in the future, and what does legacy mean to me.

I have grown into a leader by focusing on my responsibilities and stop letting others tell me what my goals are and be a role model for those who don’t understand how to be a leader just yet. I was taught this when I was a freshman. I would get in trouble a lot by playing too much and joking around. A lot of thetimes I’ll end up in the principal office and they always tell me what my future was gone be no matter what direction I took they said if I stayed the same I just be living with my mama, but If anyway possible if I changed and play in the nfl I only play 7 years in the nfl then have no career. Which I kinda took it offensive for them to say that because their point was that I was most likely going to be a failure. I didn’t tell them I was offended, I just did let what they said get to me. Later the

second semester I did get my act together, stayed out of trouble and started to do way better in my classes. A lot of people were surprised but I knew I could do better. I just act to stop acting so lazy. Later that summer I moved out of my mama house and moved in with my dad to be in a better environment to help me improve my skills. That’s how I was grown as a leader.

I learned you get nothing from laziness and leaders are not lazy no matter what. I will use that in my future by doing what I do not only for me but for my friends and family. I’ll lead others to show and prove don’t let no one else decide your future. When people try to decide their own future it sometimes either ruins the person or builds up people to prove them wrong and Imma be the one to prove them wrong. I also learned that taking action and being calm in a very serious situation is a huge sign of leadership and a huge way to reach your goals. I think that’s a very good skill to have because people often make very bad decisions when they are under pressure and stress.

Leaving a legacy means to me that you created a name for yourself in any program or whatever you did that people will remember for a very long time. A good legacy is amazing because sometimes you can have someone else carry it out for you when you are done or let it be done and a story to tell.

This is the end of the essay. my points are don’t let know one tell you what you can or can’t do. Being a leader you can’t be lazy. A legacy is like and epic resume after you retire from something not only just sports but other things like business, teaching, music making, and a lot more other things. I would like to say thank you for 2020 leadership forgiving me this opportunity even if I don’t get approve I’m still very honored and blessed to have this chance.
