I want to be a part of changing the way Hispanics are treated, especially by the police. Many people in my community do not trust law enforcement because of past experiences where they were treated unfairly or judged. As a Hispanic, I understand how these experiences can make it challenging to feel safe and supported. I want to become a voice for the voiceless in my community. Those who have been unjustly treated or unfairly judged because of their ethnicity. I want to be a voice for those who feel like they do not have one. Many Hispanics in my community may not know their rights or how to stand up for themselves when they face discrimination. By studying criminal justice, I will learn how to educate others on their rights and how to navigate the justice system. I want to make sure that everyone, regardless of their background, knows they deserve respect and equal treatment. I believe that by raising awareness of the issues Hispanics face and providing education on navigating the justice system, I can help empower people to stand up for their rights and challenge discrimination. My goal is to learn how to use the knowledge I gain to help people who are in situations like mine. I want to fight for fairness and make sure that the law works for everyone, not just some people. I believe that by learning about criminal justice, I can be a part of changing the way my community is treated, making sure that everyone is treated with kindness and fairness. The need for change in my community is urgent. I also want to be a role model for other young people in my community, showing them that they can achieve their dreams, even if they face challenges. By working as a police officer, I hope to encourage other Hispanics to pursue careers in law enforcement and show them that they can make a difference. I hope to make a difference. With hard work and dedication, I believe I can help bring about the change my community needs.
