Alumni Essay 7

In my freshman year of high school, I did not think school was important. I did my work to pass, but I never understood the world and how much it needs a leader to look up to. Youth Lead KC has shown me that no matter who you are, they are here to help you grow and learn how you can teach younger students, students in your age group, and even older students, how important school and learning can actually be. Everything you need in school can be useful to the outside world, even when the outside does not seem fair. Youth Lead KC has taught me to speak up and be confident and stride with what I was born to do.
