Alumni Essay 9

Being part of the Youth Lead KC program has been an amazing experience. I’ve met so many people with different passions, and it’s inspired me to pursue my own dreams. I’ve learned that leadership is about helping others, not just being in charge. In the program, l’ve learned how to work with others, communicate effectively, and solve problems. I’ve been inspired by the stories and experiences of my peers, and it’s motivated me to make a positive impact. I’ve realized that everyone has something unique to offer, and it’s our job to use our talents to make a difference. Whether it’s volunteering at a local clinic or advocating for healthcare policies, I want to make a difference in my community. I’ve seen how small actions can add up and make a big impact, and I want to be part of that. To me, “leaving a legacy” means doing something that will help others long after I’m gone. I want to make a difference in people’s lives, and I hope that my actions will inspire others to do the same. I want to leave the world a better place than I found it. I’m thinking about the kind of impact I want to have, and it’s pushing me to work harder and be more intentional about my goals. As I look to the future, I’m excited to see how ! can make a difference in healthcare. I’m planning to pursue a career in healthcare, and I know that the skills l’ve developed will help me make a real impact. I’m passionate about helping others, and I know that with hard work and determination, I can make a real difference. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Youth Lead KC program, and I’m excited to see what’s next. I’ll keep working hard and striving to make a difference. I know it won’t be easy, but I’m up for the challenge. I’m excited to see how I can make a positive impact in the world.
