20/20 leadership has taught me so many life lessons and leadership skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. 20/20 leadership has taught me the true meaning of what a leader actually is and the difference between a good leader and a bad leader. Before 20/20 leadership I thought a leader was just someone who oversaw other people and told them what to do. I did not have a grasp on what leaders actually do and how without them the world would be in shambles. I realized that my perception of what leadership is was totally wrong. 20/20 leadership taught me that a good leader leads by example. They carry themselves in a certain way. They dress to impress and they are very responsible. They don’t have unrealistic standards and they treat other people with kindness. They listen to everybody’s ideas and take into account other people’s opinions. They are a voice for people who are underrepresented. They don’t act alone because everyone knows that a great leader needs a great group of Individuals behind them. All of these qualities of a great leader are qualities that I have learned throughout my 20/20 leadership experience. I learned them from various leadership days and from different people who came and talked to us like the debruce foundation. Learning what a leader really is has helped me become a better leader myself. I have taken these qualities and applied them to my life so I can better myself. In the future, I will use what I learned and apply it to my dream of becoming a marketing manager of a nonprofit organization. I want to help underprivileged communities with problems they might have. I will lead with compassion and go out into the community to really see what problems that they want to be solved. I dream of marketing campaigns that will help people that are not as privileged as I am. I want to make a difference in people’s lives and I look forward to making a difference. I have big dreams and I know with hard work and determination along with passion inside me  I know my dream will become a reality. I want to be remembered as a great leader and want to do my part in my community and leave my legacy. Leaving a legacy is very important to me because I want to leave a positive footprint on my community. I want to show future generations the importance of doing community service and the value of serving your community in a positive way. You always want to help others and put good in the world so good comes back to you. I want to share the leadership styles that I learned to make the world a better place. Leaving a legacy is very important to me because it means that I did my part in contributing to society and did my best to be the change that the world really needs.
