There is no denying that it is urgent to reduce gun violence in my community. In addition to taking the lives of innocent people, gun violence causes trauma, fear, and division among locals. Entire neighborhoods are impacted by the ongoing danger of violence, and families are left in mourning. As gun violence increases, community safety and trust decline, making it more difficult for individuals to interact and prosper. We must address the underlying causes of violence, such as poverty, illiteracy, and mental health disorders, in addition to enacting stronger gun control laws, such as background checks and restrictions on powerful weapons. We can make the world a safer place where everyone may live fearlessly by banding together as a community and implementing improved conflict resolution, preventive, and support mechanisms. For the sake of our community’s future and general well-being, gun violence must be stopped. I will have the advanced abilities, know-how, and critical thinking required to meet my community’s changing healthcare demands thanks to my future nursing education. I will be more equipped to deliver high-quality care, particularly to underprivileged groups, if I have a deeper understanding of patient care, health systems, and evolving medical techniques. By staying up to date with the most recent developments in healthcare, education will enable me to provide evidence-based answers for prevalent health issues. Additionally, by increasing my knowledge, I will be in a better position to inform people in my community about wellness, healthy living, and preventative treatment, which will assist to improve overall health outcomes.Along with fighting for systemic changes in care delivery that will benefit the community in the long run, I also intend to assume leadership positions and mentor other medical professionals. In the end, my training will enable me to influence the community through lobbying and wider community involvement in addition to providing direct patient care. After high school I plan on studying nursing, then returning to school to obtain my PhD in Pediatrics. I want to further my education and receive a PhD because I want to be the person that cures someone from an illness. In order to establish a solid foundation in healthcare, anatomy, and patient care, I am excited to begin by enrolling in a nursing school at a respectable institution or university. In order to build practical skills and obtain a deeper understanding of the nursing profession, I intend to supplement my academic studies with practical experience obtained through internships or voluntary work in healthcare settings. I’m determined to keep learning throughout my career, keep up with developments in the medical field, and eventually specialize in a nursing specialty that interests me, like pediatrics or emergency care. In the end, I want to significantly impact my future patients’ lives by applying my training and love of helping people. Even though I was unable to cure my cousin from a disease he fought for so long because it was incurable, I want to be that change for someone else that may be battling a similar illness. He is my motivation to become the doctor that I will become in life. I’ve always had this strong desire to help people. I don’t want to just help save people like they show on TV. On TV they only show what the nurses do and what they do to help the patient. They never show the outcome of the patient’s life after their visit in the hospital. When I become a nurse I will make sure that I actually check up on my patients even after they leave. I want to actually make a difference in their lives. Becoming a nurse will forever be my dream goal and once I become one that will be the day I start changing the world step-by-step. Obtaining a degree in nursing will change my life as I change other people’s at the same time.
