Identifying the Need Within My Community:
In my community, small businesses are the lifeblood of the local economy, contributing to job creation, economic growth, and community vibrancy. However, many aspiring entrepreneurs encounter significant barriers to entry, including limited access to capital, lack of mentorship, and inadequate business acumen. As a result, promising ventures often falter prematurely, stifling economic opportunities and perpetuating cycles of inequality.

Also, people from less privileged communities in my area have a harder time getting the resources they need to start a business. This makes it even more difficult for women, minorities, and low-income individuals to succeed as entrepreneurs, which only makes the wealth gap bigger.

In today’s world, there’s a real need for support systems that help aspiring entrepreneurs overcome the unique challenges they face, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. By tackling these barriers head-on and creating a more welcoming environment for entrepreneurship, we can unlock undiscovered potential, boost economic mobility, and create a fairer society for everyone.

Studying Business Administration:I am determined to pursue a degree in business administration after high school as I believe it is the key to unlocking my potential and making a positive impact on my community. With a rigorous curriculum, immersive experiential learning opportunities, and exposure to industry-leading practices, I am confident that I will develop a comprehensive skill set that encompasses strategic planning, financial management, marketing, and organizational leadership..

Understanding business principles is essential for me to become a successful entrepreneur. I need to learn about market analysis, business strategy, and operational efficiency to identify opportunities, reduce risks, and grow my business sustainably. With this knowledge, I can navigate through the complexities of entrepreneurship and venture management. It will give me the tools to drive growth in my community.
