Having leadership experience and beyond

You see yourself differently, I see myself differently, we all see things differently but most importantly, it is very important how you see yourself. Not what others think or feel but the inside you because at the end of the day that is what really matters. I see myself as a courageous outgoing student that is very passionate about school and takes seriously about the plans after school too. It’s not easy trying to be one but when dedication and pride is so much put into, all the feeling of having no doubt goes away. It’s like the sensation of all the hard work put into doing something that makes me really excited no wonder what because towards the end of the day, the dedication and trying something new was there. I have no shame. Nobody should have shame for trying something new especially when it is something you are not that confident about, when you’re shy, or just not a person who likes speaking.
Overwhelming for myself for someone that isn’t so confident. It’s worth it in the end and maybe not so bad. The fear I have stood within me until my junior year of high school where leadership was involved in a presentation with my group for the 20/20 leadership Olympic. Also that was my first ever time being in 20/20 leadership. I was encouraged by my amazing friend that told me about this program. I wasn’t sure at first. My mind was unsure if I should join or not but after much encouragement and thinking, I gave it a try for a couple of months and it turned out it wasn’t so bad after all. In fact it has helped me in so many ways, shape, and form. It has helped me where it takes quite such skills to put into such things but never hard as it seems.
I can use so much from the experience I learn and put into the real world that involves being a leader, my education, what I have learned, and that has inspired me to further my education. Some of those things I would like to talk about. I have so many moments where I can relieve all my leadership experience that has occurred due to the fact that I was able to participate in them and cherish the moment and make it useful out of it. Now I am able to really talk about my leadership in this essay and my feelings. Well I like to start off by saying I have so many things I can share and elaborate more on which is why I would like to share my two best that I think would really be amazing to people and would be eager to read it. To take the time of your day for a couple of minutes. I have mentioned this previously but 20/20 leadership which is now called “Youth Lead KC” Olympic during my junior year is one of it. I am mentioning it again because throughout my high school years I have never really come across being a leader until this presentation I will never forget. So before the big Olympic presentation.
As a group we all had to come up with a design that can be put into school. It could be anything we choose but before that each individual member had their own responsibility for the project which makes things a lot better and easier. Each member was responsible for their own and of course help is available if needed. You may have assistance and someone to be there to help, peer pressure wouldn’t be in the way because it is not made for that’s kinda stuff. It’s supposed to be a relaxed and at ease project with your groups. My responsibility was taking notes and keeping up with it. I was able to lead in making sure the notes are prepared so by the day of the Olympic, is there already it to present it. After taking notes I shared the notes I took so they kinda get an idea of what to say or if they don’t like it, add some changes to it. The idea we all came up with as a group was to paint a mural for school. So I took some notes about what type of mural, color, or even quote we can pick and the location. This help leads to potential ideas and basically to really help us out.
The second one would be having to do with 3DE. This was during either my sophomore or junior year I can’t remember but it was something I was involved in. For this one, it was during entrepreneurship class which means having to do with business and pursuing making their own business. There was a pitch that had to come along with the project. I can’t quite remember what I picked out but besides that I was a leader at that moment. I lead my friend on how to do what and what should be added to the project to make it better. Most importantly on what to write because well she knows what to say but wasn’t sure what to write, which she is amazing at in knowing what to say but just wasn’t sure on how to write it down so that’s where I come in for help. To show kindness, to show it’s okay to be a leader to other people and that it can help in any way.
I have learned so many things from these, in such a way where I can remember and use it in many other ways. Towards communities and people because of the beneficial it comes with being a leadership depending on where and what. Showing a good example what different leadership there could be. And on top of that, it has inspired me to further my education in so many ways where I could apply to other potential areas I come across with. Not only it has helped me and further in my education but it has taught me that it is useful and it is an important skill for myself and into life and pretty much that being a leader can come in handy and make myself feel good. Being a leader is what makes me up and inspires so many things to myself, the community, and other people around me. It is something I can keep within me. That is what I called being a leader for my leadership experience.
