Senior 10

 Leadership is not just about holding a title or position; it’s something I use in every aspect of  my life. Being a leader could be as big as inspiring and motivating others to achieve their best, or as simple as giving your little sister relationship advice. Throughout my academic and community involvement I have strived to give my best. In this essay, I will discuss how I have demonstrated leadership in both my school and community, and how I hope to continue to lead in the future.

In my school, I have held various leadership positions that have allowed me to make a positive impact on my peers and the school community. An example is being a member of the student council, student council works to represent the interests of my friends and other students in my school. I helped organize events that promoted the school’s spirit and unity, such as pep rallies and charity events.  Outside of student council, I was also involved in several extracurricular activities where I demonstrated leadership. For example, as the vice president of my school’s band, I demonstrated my commitment to my fellow peers by helping out when I was needed. This included finding fun and challenging music that we could play at concerts and games. I also served In a program named Learn and Serve where I and others help teachers with whatever they may need. One of my favorite things to do in learning and serving is giving new kids a tour of our school. 

In addition, I have also demonstrated leadership in my community. I have volunteered with several organizations, including donations of food, money, and presents to needy families and kids. Organizations reach an adolescent group I am a member of in my local church. I take the time to help those in need and spread the message of love and faith. I hope to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Organizations like these often come to my church asking for help. 

In the future, I hope to continue to demonstrate leadership by taking on new challenges and opportunities. I am interested in pursuing a career as a Radiologic Technician, where I can use my leadership skills learned in Leadership 20/20. I hope to make a positive impact on my community and society as a whole. I also hope to continue to be involved in my church and community organizations, as I believe that these experiences are essential for character development. 

I am committed to continue demonstrating leadership in the future. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, and I am confident that I will be able to make a positive impact on my community and society as a whole through my leadership abilities.
