In my school and community, I’ve demonstrated leadership by actively participating in various activities and programs. For example, I’ve been in the 20/20 Leadership program, where I learned crucial skills like effective communication and asking questions. I’ve also showcased my leadership abilities by advocating for important causes and raising awareness about Hispanic culture during National Hispanic Heritage Month. The events we planned consisted of an all-school assembly that showed Mexican dancers, poets and other Hispanic leaders in the community. I also attended a meeting to speak about Hispanic community problems. And communicating about what my people might be facing as well as me to try to make a solution. I spoke about how some Hispanics without documentation can have their choices for college slighter and more complicated since most colleges or scholarships, in general, require people to be citizens and have social security. I want Hispanic students who are struggling with that crisis to be able to have other options to be able to pursue their dream careers. As for myself personally it was hard to see what scholarships I could be able to apply to so this instantly motivated to try and make a change to better other people in the same situation. 

As for the future, I hope to continue demonstrating leadership by inspiring others in my Hispanic community who may be facing similar challenges. Another way I want to show leadership in the ship would be by participating in clubs since I want to pursue a business career. Participating in community services to help out the community because I just want to help out.

. I want to show them that, as a Mexican immigrant, I am still chasing my dreams and making a difference, no matter how difficult the journey may be. By being a positive influence and role model, I aim to empower others to believe in themselves and pursue their goals.
