Leadership, to me, means more than holding a title—it means using your voice, your actions, and your character to positively influence others. Throughout my time in school and my community, I have demonstrated leadership by stepping up when others needed support, creating welcoming environments, and serving as a role model. My leadership has been shaped by my willingness to listen, help others grow, and take initiative even when I was not required to do so.

One of the most important ways I have demonstrated leadership is by supporting my peers academically. Whenever classmates struggled to understand assignments or concepts, I made myself available to help explain material in a way that made sense to them. I understand how frustrating it can feel to fall behind, so I wanted to create an environment where no one felt embarrassed to ask for help. By being patient and encouraging, I helped others gain confidence in their abilities. Leadership is not about being the smartest person in the room, but about helping everyone succeed together. Seeing my classmates improve and feel proud of themselves showed me the impact that encouragement and guidance can have.
