In my school, I’m blessed to be in the classes I’m in. With leadership, I was able to gain trust from my school. I’ve been able to set up school events, help with out-of-school activities, and use these privileges to make long-term friends. I plan to lead myself to bigger accomplishments that put me in an amazing position (financial stability). Using my career in audio engineering to push inspiration out into the public scene is how I plan to use leadership in my future.

20/20 Leadership played an important role in shaping the person I’ve become and a person people around me respect. I’ve gained morals and rules that I apply to my life because of 20/20 Leadership. The career (audio engineering) that I speak of was a project I had to do for leadership, called “Career Exploration”. We had to research the career we wanted to pursue in the future and right the tuition cost, housing cost, and salary. Leadership has taught me to put myself first but be selfless, two contradictions. I understand the importance of both, and manage to have a good heart. This is my character in a nutshell.

Some of my leadership abilities would be that I’m loud when I need to be, when I need confidence I’m able to gain it, when it comes to taking someone’s spot at an event or activity I can manage, and if I need to be an extrovert at times I’m able to. I’m a senior in high school who’s been a captain of my high school Esports team. I’m in student council, and I’ve participated in Harvesters, Trick or Treat so Tots Can Eat. I’ve tried to help my community in the best ways I can, and in March I plan to play boys varsity Volleyball.

In the future, I plan to work in audio engineering making music or sound effects for movies or shows. This job is something that before I researched I didn’t know was an actual career. It seemed too good to be true. In my mind, I believed working on sounds was something you get famous doing if you were good enough, but there’s actual training and programs to get certified in. I plan to use the leadership qualities I have to sustain confidence in my career. I plan to use my career to leave a positive impact on the younger generations. I hope to inspire my brothers and lead them to the right path.

I plan to use the leadership qualities that I’ve gained from 20/20 Leadership to succeed in my career and leave behind a legacy. Goals that I outlined in the recent paragraphs, I hope to accomplish no matter the difficulties I have to endure. Within success, I plan to be a kind, lenient, caring, and honest soul to the people I love. I plan to put my heart and soul into everything I do from now on until the end of my journey.
