Senior Leadership Scholarship Essay 43

I demonstrate leadership in my school by being involved in many programs and college classes while having regular classes and a good GPA. I like to indicate that the impossible is possible; anyone can do it if you’re organized and have perseverance and confidence in your abilities. I am a senior ambassador; I promote when events are going on in school or outside of school. I remind my colleagues that there are deadlines for scholarships or deadlines for other things. I have demonstrated my leadership skills by helping out in the community. I have baked 500 cupcakes to help feed unhoused people. I volunteered in small cafes to help out those small businesses. I have also done food sorting for my community. I also volunteered in my church, helping in the mass and trying my best to help in my community. Taking the lead has always come naturally to me; a leader is someone you can trust and guide others in the right direction. My friends always come to me when they need help, either in their personal life or when it’s school life. They know they can trust me and that I can guide them in the right direction. Sometimes, they come to me and ask me to read their scholarship essays, and I always give them critiques. Or when they need help filling out their applications.
I want to demonstrate leadership skills in the future by showing others you need to be confident in yourself to sometimes make fast decisions and host events where people can come together, collaborate, network, and bond. Then, we offer value to encourage people to continue to show up. Collaboration, creating a safe and protected environment where people can come together. Bringing in guests and using other people’s spaces. Never stop collaborating! It’s how you attract people and make your own community! Also, learn to come out of your comfort zone, try socializing, learn what the community wants, and build relationships with people! It’s the best thing you can ever do! While you are learning how to build relationships, you also have to be self-aware of situations that may go on, learning your own strengths and weaknesses and how you can easily impact others.

Learning what your community needs and communicating back. It also addresses issues in your community and explains how you can resolve them. To be a leader, you need to have a voice, someone who will always shine, can be easily recognized quickly, and has good communication skills. Being a leader also teaches how to take accountability if you are in the wrong or if you are in the right, it shows how to take ownership and teaches a lot about responsibility and the positives and negatives of being a leader.

But most importantly, never forget who you are as a person! And to never change yourself. Being a leader is something you are either born with or you become. But never take advantage of being a leader. Remember to always take time for yourself. Being a leader can be stressful if you do not know how to manage it properly.
